Does anyone know anything about HV installations in Camp Bastion and/or Camp Leatherneck?
A Channel 4 documentary reliably informed me that the ES compound had a HV system, but TICRE has no info on it. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, or even just make up some thing that I can then reference that would be great. Thanks.

James. Have you seen Tim Boorman’s thesis?
No, what was it on?
Power generation in Camp Bastion. Not HV but there might be something in it of use. I’m pretty sure there was no HV in Bastion. Maybe Leatherneck. Email address?

Thanks.

James,
Apologies, I’ve been on leave for the last week and I’m just back in the office. I’m still trying to access the US Centre for Army lessons Learned, which is proving to be difficult. I’ll let you know if I have any luck.
Cheers Kukie, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
Hope you had a good week off – anywhere exciting?
James,
Yes, skiing in Whistler! All very good but I now feel hopelessly behind on everything else. I’ve been denied access to the (restricted) CALL site, but they did provide a contact who I have chased for HV power generation at Leatherneck, I’ve also asked about the Mosul Dam for Doug, so we’ll see what comes back. Again, apologies for the delay, I’ll let you know, even if they can’t help.
