Mendeley Desktop…it’s free!
Whilst writing my thesis I have found Mendeley Desktop to be an excellent reference management system and the citation plug-in for Word is well worth downloading as well. I only wish I had listened to Mark Hill and downloaded it before starting TMR 1!

Agreed Alex. I’d add the use of the word template from the ELE intended for thesis but could easily be adapted for TMRs. I ended up bodging the JSP 101 word add on which worked for basic stuff but was limited when amending annexes, lower levels of contents pages etc…
We’re trying to get a bit of a brief on Mendeley for future Phase 1s, it’s definitely a good referencing provision. The thesis template could be adapted for a TMR but we prefer to let you free run on TMRs so those creative juices can flow!
